About Us
Southern Blessed was a dream of a grandmother, daughter and grand daughter. Barbara the grandmother, Sandy the daughter and Stephanie the granddaughter are Greensboro, NC natives and love their hometown. They spent as much free time together as they could rather it was sipping coffee on the front porch or out shopping at all the local stores in the area. They always talked about having their own store and in 2019 they decided to begin an online store. The online store started as a mixture of consignment items and new items.
However, in 2019 Barbara began showing signs of dementia and it progressed through 2020 rapidly. She lost her battle to Alzheimer's in December of 2021 and shortly after that Sandy and Stephanie decided to continue on their dream and open a brick and mortar store in Greensboro, NC. They are so excited to bring amazing unique items to everyone in Greensboro and bring back that feeling of connection with the small businesses.

These earrings are exactly what I was looking for…I was seeking an earring resembling the ocean waves, and I recalled seeing some ocean related items on the Southern Blessed site, so I reached out to the owner and she quickly replied finding the wooden wave earrings. These earrings are so light and comfortable and the ideal size. Not too big…not too small…just right! They kind of have a rustic bohemian feel that makes me think of drift wood. So glad this treasure washed up on my beach. 🌊
